How do I edit or change the information associated with my account?
If you need to change the personal information you provided at registration, click "My Account" in the upper-right corner of your page and follow the links to change the information.
How can I add/edit my own story to my Profile?
To add/edit your Profile story, first click on your avatar in the top right corner of the Message Boards. Select “Profile” from the drop-down menu. From your Profile page, click on the “Edit Profile” button, fill in the information you wish to include, and hit “Save Profile.”
Who can view my Message Boards story?
Your story will be viewable to other members of WebMD Message Boards. Be sure that the information you include is something you're comfortable with sharing in a public setting.
Adding an image or photo to your Member Profile is a great way to express yourself and allow other members to get to know you better. You can change your image as often as you like.
Image SizeYou are able to upload an image of up to 5MB, which WebMD will resize to fit within the application in which you are participating.
Type of FileThe preferred image formats are .JPG, .JPEG, or .GIF files. Animated files are not a preferred format and may not perform correctly on our site.
UploadingTo upload an image to your profile, first click on your account avatar located in the top right corner of every Message Boards page and select “Profile” from the drop-down menu that will appear. Next, click on the circular profile image avatar in the top left of your profile page and select “change”. Browse your computer for the photo or image you want to display as your profile photo.
Why Will My Image Not Upload?
