Continuous brown spotting after sex, while on a continuous birth control

I have been taking a continuous birth control to where I only have a period every three months. It is an off brand of seasonique. This is the first time I have ever used birth control. My doctor prescribed this to me due to my chronic periods. As of now I am approximately 3 weeks away from my period. I just began being sexually active at the start of this year and we used condoms as a back up contraceptive. Since the last day I had intercourse (which was my second time) I have been spotting dark....

    Ovaries

I suffer from irregular periods. Well I have been suffering lately from an uncomfortable feeling of urgency to urinate all the time and a burning sensation in my lower right pelvic area. I have had some nausea feeling also. I also have some tenderness in the area of my pelvic as previous mentioned. I am wondering if I may be suffering from a cyst on my ovary or anything abnormal of the reproductive matter. Any clues or similar circumstances?

I missed my pill and didn't realised

Hi. I missed one pill from the first week of the pack and I didn't realised until 2 or 3 days later. In that period, I continued to take the pills without realising that I missed the one pill. Also, I slept once with my boyfriend. Should I be concerned about being pregnant?

    Plan B + Period Trouble

Long story short- I don't have normal periods, I'd be lucky to have 2-3 periods a year. I'm 17, almost 18, and had recently been on a 5 week trip with my boyfriend. One of the times we had sex there was a chance that our contraception had failed so I decided to be safe and get plan b the next day. Cut to like.. a week and a half later I start my period, which in of it's self is strange to me. For the first two days it was like.. a tiny bit heavier than what I've experienced before....

    2 periods in month

I do take BC & yes I have an alarm so I don't miss any. That being said I always start Thursday or Friday after starting my active pills. Been on BC for 4 years & it's been this way but now for last 2 months I have my period but then start again around 5-7 days later & go for 2-3 days. Is this normal due to my age (29) ? I'm married & Dr said we could have sex during my inactive pills but now I'm not sure what's up with my body

    Thyroid and Hormone Health

Hi There, I am a young, extremely healthy and active 23 y/o female. I recently had bloodwork done to figure out the root cause of the following symptoms: stubborn weight specifically around the middle, thinning hair, mild graying hair, occasional heat flashes. My energy levels are stable and sleep is normal. My intuition was right that something is up. My blood tested slightly high for testosterone levels (54 ng/dL) and slightly high for TSH (3.4 uIU/mL). Hypothyroidism runs in my family but I tested....

Extremely painful period after first skipped on birth control

Hello, all! I have a couple questions for all of you. Four years ago, I was diagnosed with PCOS and prescribed a daily combination pill by my gynaecologist to help with the painful, long periods and other symptoms often associated with that. The diagnosis was confirmed with the typical battery of blood tests (my testosterone levels were through the roof). However, about six months ago, I checked in with my GP to have some other tests done and we also ran those same tests which were done previously....

    Getting off of birth control

I want to have the possibility of getting pregnant and having kids in the next 5 years and I have been on birth control for the last 7 years. My periods are light but painful and I just want my body to be natural and I don't want to miss my opportunity to have children with my husband. Any advice on when to get off of birth control or what I should expect or how long before anyone else got pregnant after they stopped birth control?
