    Delaying period with bcps

Hi Everyone, I am in the 5th week of taking bcps to delay my period for my vacation, but the pelvic cramping is becoming a bit unbearable. Is it okay for me to stop at the end of week 5 tomorrow? Is it necessary to complete week 6? I take microgynon which is a low dose 21-day/3 week pack of monophasic pills. Your feedback is appreciated, Thanks

Painful urination not STI/ UTI/ yeast or BV

I’m at a loss. I’m 23. For a year it’s hurt to pee everyday. It gets better when I drink water, but nothing has helped. I was on 3 rounds of antibiotics for a UTI: nothing. Antibiotics for BV: nothing. All my STI checks were clean and so was my yeast. I don’t have urgency to pee, but it hurts every time. I had a OBGYN recommend I see a labia specialist because I might have a sensitivity. But it came on so suddenly. I did a 5k in high waisted shorts and that night it felt like I had a UTI. Then the....

    PMDD possibly

I live in super conservative louisiana and idk where or who to get help from with symptoms coinciding with my literal cycle only!!! I get pills thrown at me for symptoms and I’d rather have 1-2 good weeks a month than none so I’ve stopped all. The past few days the symptoms are coming back and it’s hopeless despair again with guilt because I have no reason to feel like this. My family believes you should just shut up and get over it. Idk what to do!!! Any suggestions please!!!! I have grandparents....

Sudden changes after being on same birth control for most of 5+ years

I was diagnosed with PCOS and probable endometriosis 8 years ago. I was prescribed Safyral for the 1st year or 2 until their discount program ended, was then put on Generess FE and have been on it or a generic equivalent (Kaitlb FE or generic Norethinidone and Ethinyl Esteridol) for most of that time, except for 8 months when I tried Nuvaring and was spotting more than I wasn’t. My periods have been light to the point of nonexistence, and I hadn’t gotten the embarrassing hormonal acne I used to.....

    Tubal reversal

I got my tubes burned and tied almost 4 years ago. Since then I have went through divorce and am currently dating a man with no kids. My question is that would a reversal be even possible? Has anyone had one and gotten pregnant?

    Feeling crampy and slight spotting

This has been going on for a few days. I have been having lower abdominal pain, similar to cramps. At first I thought maybe it was gas because it was one sided but now both sides have been aching. When I used the bathroom and wiped this morning, it has a pinkish tint to it. I am currently on BC pills and have been for years. I haven't skipped one but have been a little off on taking them at the same time. I have not been sexually active in a long while, so it isn't pregnancy related. Any....

What kind of hormone imbalance do I have and what options are there to help fix it?

I am certain that I have a hormone imbalance but I am struggling to narrow down what kind and options to help regain a healthy balance. I have had excessive dark hair on my chin area for the last 10 years (i’m 31), irregular periods (sometimes none at all for months), bloating in my lower abdominal area, occasional reoccurring headaches...all of which lead me to assume high testosterone levels (possibly PCOS) but I also have a very low sex drive. And am very fertile (had 3 kids in 4 years even on....

Who's gotten there tubes tied at a young age?

Hi so I'm going on my 3rd baby 26 wks preggers and I'm absolutely certain that I want to tie my tubes once I give birth. I already spoken to my partner and he also agrees it's for the best. so I've spoken to my my family and most say dont do it because it causes hormone imbalance since I'm supposably young (24) and that it has bad side effects ect ect... almost all the older woman say they regret doing it cause they wanted more children in the end and me and my partner talked....

    birth control pill and ovulation

I have been taking a birth control pill for years. Always the same kind, just different generic name. I'm normally pretty good about taking it within a 3 hr window. But I'm curious to know how common it is to ovulate on the pill. I know you are not suppose to, but I often get one sided cramps in between my periods and don't know why. I go to the gyno annually and whenever I have an exam done, she never mentions anything about cysts or anything on my ovaries. I feel like what I am experiencing....

    Endometriosis&Birth Control

I read in this article that IUD's are a treatment option for endometriosis. I want to disagree with that. I've suffered from endo for over 20yrs. I had surgery in hopes of having a child (I did get one thank God). I have went through the last 20+yrs of medical treatments. I have ALWAYS been told that IUD's should NEVER be used if you have endo. There is a risk of endo attaching to the device. This could cause serious problems! I seen a endo specialist, she did my surgery. She's considered....
