    Shoulder and Chest pains

Over the past week, I've been having a burning sensation on my right shoulder blade, which seems to get worse when in certain positions. ( The pain actually goes away when I lift my arm over my head.
At first I thought it was because I have my arm is a certain position all the time, due to me being on the computer for 10+ hours a day.
Ever since yesterday, I've had odd pressure sensation on the right side of my heart, which eventually moved on to the same burning pain that was on my shoulder.
I might as well add that due to it being summer, I haven't been sleeping nearly enough, also I have been eating unhealthy. I'm not super overweight either, I am medically overweight but I'm not obese. Also, my worst habit I have is my diet soda addiction, I've drank about 2 liters of diet coke almost daily for the past 2 years, and I am planning on stopping soon.
Yesterday, when this pain started, I started to google my symptoms.
Now I must note, I have panic disorders so I tend to blow things out of proportion.
So I had a panic attack, which did make my symptoms worse.
I thought I was having a heart attack, but I didn't end up going to the hospital due to my symptoms calming down drastically.
So I was up for a few hours, and I decided to eat something. I ate some vegetable soup, and it made the burning in my chest very intense.
So I'm not sure what to think, do I have a disease? Or is it heartburn?
Can a heartburn cause pain in my shoulder blade too?
Another symptom that leads me to believe it may just be heartburn is, I have been burping a lot.
I'm pretty sure my anxiety is just making fake symptoms but honestly, I don't know.
I'm going to go to the clinic tomorrow, but until then I need to have some answers on what this possibly could be.

    RE: Shoulder and Chest pains

@ cheyyyy What, if anything, did the clinic find? Did they send you for more tests? Periodically I have a pointed pain in my left scapula (which stiffens my neck) and sometimes includes through and through heartburn from chest to the pain in the scapula plus pressure/ache in my left arm. I have a high tolerance for pain due to chronic migraine as well as a low/moderate level of panic disorder. Does anyone reading this thread have any thoughts or history of anything similar?

    RE: Shoulder and Chest pains

Hi Just a thought you say when you lift your arm up it goes away, which means doing that it relieves pressure, may sound odd but could be just trapped wind which can sit there for days, try taking some strong peppermint cordial then go for a god brisk walk, if its wind it will come up and it will be noisy with a big belch.
