    Time to Get in Shape after Concussion

    Hi, I just turned 41. I am more of an exercise person and not so much of a diet person because I eat pretty moderately healthy. For 4 years I have been living with Post Concussive Syndrome after a blow to the side of my head. I used to be a runner, but when in recovery from my concussion I never got back to it. I just couldn't get my regular balance back again. After moving to Colorado and getting a new Neurologist and seeing a Concussion Specialist, it was determined that I have Vestibular Damage....

    Weight loss has slowed

    Hello all, For the past several months, I have been on a (strict as possible) diet and exercise routine. During the week I have no/very little: sugar, cheese, fatty foods/grease, etc. while walking on average between 16-23mi a week. I also kill about 4-6 cups of ZipFizz/water a day. Doing this, I have successfully gone from 345 to 286. My current issue is I believe I have hit a "plateau" so to speak - I am not losing as much weight at once as I have been. Is there anything I can do differently....

    Gastric Bypass 08/2014

    It’s been almost 4 years. I picked a realistic goal weight of 160 and never made it. I’m actually okay if I can maintain at 167, but I keep creeping up to 175. I know I’ve been eating the wrong things and stresss eating...especially now that I know I can tolerate certain foods. Sometimes I overeat my and feel sick even thought I know it’s how I’ll feel. It’s like as I’m eating I’m not paying attention to the signals...ignoring them. I know the right things to do and I hate to keep getting myself....

    Joint replacement...

    What is it about joint replacement that makes it unlikely I will ever regain the strength in my hips and legs I had before the joint replacement? I have worked extremely hard at PT, followed by working out at a local health club attempting to get back all the strength I had before surgery.

    Hysterectomy

    I had a hysterectomy a few years ago and I noticed I have been gaining weight since. I crave sweets and salty items. I recently decided to become a vegan and I am exercising three times a week in the gym and the remainder of the days at home. Is there anything else I can do to assist in my weight loss mission?

    Weight loss

    Im 28 years old and I’ve always struggled with weight loss. I’ve never been been a small girl always curvy and fit however when I had kids I weighed 275. Well today 05/03/18 I weigh 194 pounds. I excercise and I eat way better without depriving myself. I live food I’m a southern belle so I enjoy cooking but I’ve learned ways to tweek certain things. Also I started using advocare just to keep me in line because it’s so hard having kids and a husband and trying to stay in shape. If anyone wants to....

    One foot hurts severly while running or brisk walking

    hello, I'm a 29 year old female, weighing 107 lbs and 5'1" in height. Though I'm in good physical health, i have not exercised in a long time and lead a largely sedentary lifestyle. i recently went on a trip which involved excess walking for long periods.though my feet were hurting (right much more than left) and i took periodic rest, the pain would come back everytime i walked again or wore closed shoes. It's been over 2 weeks since I've been back. i wanted to start exercising....
