    First time here.

    Hi, This is my first time here. I've been trying to lose the same 40 lbs for almost 40 years. Even though now it's more like 70 lbs. My first goal is to weigh myself on Friday and post my weight. (That's my first day back to work after today.) My first try is going to be to eat 3 meals a day and to only eat when I'm hungry. See you Friday.

    I can do it!

    I know I can loose this extra weight I have done it before with walk and eating healthy watching my calorie intake and burning more than I ate, do anybody use a fit bit? does it help you mentally?

    Worry about son

    My 45 year old son ran a lot in college with sweatsuits on to keep his weight down. Recently he has started running again and has changed his diet to mostly vegan. He went from 218 to his 182 weight in the last 3 months. He wears sweat suits, rubber shirt, heavy jacket, a bandana, and a blinker light vest when he runs.     Need a change; weightloss, muscle build!

    I'm 37, father of 5, husband and an overweight and out of shape officer. I NEED to change things, but I struggle with ongoing motivation, what to do and most importantly, I don't have a lot of extra means (Money) for the food I should be eating or the gym. I have a kettlebell and heavy bag. I struggle with portion control and have a terrible sweet tooth. 5 years ago, I was 170 with defined pecs, abs, arms and a defined jaw line.
