I worked out after a big meal but my weight didn’t change the next day...?

Hey all! So, over the past year I’ve been fortunate to hit several weight loss goals I set for myself-it hasn’t been easy, but I’ve gotten there and now am just trying to figure out how to sustain it long-term. A few nights ago I ate healthy during the day and that night had what most would consider a fairly unhealthy meal-wings (traditional, so less carbs) with a dry rub (less sodium) and a pizza without cheese (just crust and sauce). Despite these modifications it still ended up being a big meal....

    My weight loss journey

I am determined to lose this weight but it a struggle. I joined Dr. Fisher Weight Loss program. I lost 20lbs in two months. This is an expensive program and I don't know how long I will be able to pay for the pills and B-12/Lipo injections.

    Work eating for sanity

Hi, I saw that someone else had a similar post about snacking at work, and like them, I feel like this is something that is hard to find help for. I eat all day at work. I do it because it's the only way I can get through the day without murdering my co-workers. There's nothing wrong with them - they are perfectly nice people. There's nothing wrong with my job. Before I figured out what the problem was, I thought it was the job. So I changed jobs. Then I changed fields and changed jobs....

The pounds are stuck on me!

I have gained 50-60 pounds over the last two year with the stress of divorce and moving. I also hit 50 during this time. I move around a lot and don't eat excessively and the pounds are stuck, mostly around my middle. I have tried weight watchers and noom but one thing I have learned is that I will not track anything to save my life. I am a box checker but not a tracker or journaler by any means. I am going to try Pure Barre because I think exercise may be my key. Any thoughts, any food combos....

Last ten pounds —not the typical question exactly though

I do need to provide a little background up front, so I apologize for this post’s length, and I’m not sure I know how to word all this to ensure it makes as much sense as possible. So I’m hoping people here will humor me a little. Using a combination of what I’ve learned from programs like P90x, P90x3, Body Beast, and just general reading I’ve done over the years, I’ve finally managed to break through all my previous fitness plateaus, this past year finally figuring out a lot of stuff that really....

    Losing my gut

I am trying to lose weight and have done fairly well so far, but I want to lose the gut. I've been told by some people that there are certain exercises I can do to accomplish this, I've also been told by others that it's not possible to target weight loss in a specific area of the body. What's the truth?

    Ramen Noodles

I use to eat them like 4 times a week, didn't add the packet that it comes with. I am vigilant about sodium. It adds to your water weight. Has anyone hear about that. Now I still look at sodium, carbs, and sugar. I have 6 packs of the Ramen noodles. If i delete the seasoning pack, will it take some sodium out? . What about the Cup of soup, the Maruchan noodles, that comes to a whopping 1000 mg or more sodium for the soup. I drain the liquid so its noodles and the vegs. Even the canned soup, lots....

    Senior's Forgetfulness in conversations

My 94-year-old mother is healthy and fairly active (walks 1/2 to 1 mile every day). She's recently been evaluated for dementia, and is healthy in that regard also. But whenever she is in a conversation, in person or on the telephone, she has great difficulty remembering words, or sometimes the whole topic of the conversation. It's not an issue when she's with her small group of friends, but when she's in any situation she perceives as stressful (i.e. having lunch with her young adult....
