    Finally Losing Weight

    I’ve been obese for over twenty years and have tried multiple diets and failed at them all. I started having health issues last year and severe knee problems. I knew I had to do something about my weight, I don’t want to die before I’m 50.
    My husband (we’ve been married 25yrs) decided to join me but we’ve decided to make a complete lifestyle change instead of dieting and I’m finally losing weight.
    Starting last December we’ve been cutting out things from our diet. We’ve been trying various vegan meat substitutes and eating lots of fresh vegetables. No sodas or sugary drinks, I only drink water and herbal tea. I’ve finally gotten to where I only eat from noon to 8pm, Exercise 30min. daily and only eat meat (usually fish) 2 to 3 times a week.
    I’ve lost 40 lbs so far and I feel amazing. I’m used to my diet and eating schedule now and have no real issues sticking to it.
    We still have our days off 2 or 3 times a month where we go out to dinner and eat what we want, we just don’t overdo it.

    I was wondering if anyone else has any ideas or suggestions as to how I can make my diet better or am I doing it right?

    How do or did you get started on Keto? I have know clue, and don't want to pay for a site or app to tell me how.

    so, what's not to like about your approach? you cut the crap out of your diet, are eating less in general, it sounds like, exercising, and.... voila! off came the pounds! magic, ain't it? you are doing EX-FREAKING-ZACTLY what will work for anybody (most of the time), and the important part is, you are KEEPING AT IT because you said "yes" to lifestyle change. diets suck. you are the example for others! keep dropping the weight, slowly. a few pounds a week is plenty fast enough. heck, even a pound a week is ok. job (being) well done!
