    weight problem.

    as of today I am 5.1" and weigh 230 lbs. 6 months ago I weighed 200 and was put on Birth control to regulate my period. That gained me weight. I stopped taking the pills and I exercise everyday, its been two weeks, and eat healthy but my weight does not go down. prior to this I hardly ate anything and often would skip meals. my weight is not from junk food or higher portions of food. my question is why cant I / why is it hard for me to loose the weight? please help if you can.

    you better talk with your doctor. you are 230 lbs and your are not tall person. So, it will be better for you reduce your weight at least 100 lbs. Food is the main fact for gaining weight, but making sure you do not have any other health issue.

    Hi Melane. In order for me to lose weight, I have to be on a high protein, no carb, no dairy diet. This is what works for me. Do not skip meals, that is the worst thing you can do for yourself. Start measuring your food intake and keep a log of what you eat. I know it is hard. I have been there and I am currently working on my weight too with several health issues. Walk, it doesn't have to be long. 10-minutes at a time. You can do it.

    Maybe get your metabolism checked. Definitely weigh & measure everything you eat, and log it. It's the key to successful weight loss. I myself am I weight watchers but you do what works for you
