    RE: Nothing working

What exactly are you trying, it’s not an easy road initially. It takes patience and a little time to see results. But the outcome is always worth it!

    RE: Nothing working

i have found that nutrition is 85% of weightloss. Exercise can be a benefit but if your food choices are crappy, you struggle. That's my personal experience anyway.

    RE: Nothing working

Since the start of January, I've cut out all soft drinks, drinking only water or coffee. I've greatly reduced my intake of starches like potatoes, bread, and rice. It's gradually working, and I've lost about 7 lbs.

As mentioned, patience is key. Reduce your food intake gradually, not drastically, focusing first on the garbage we all eat. You don't need to cut out junk completely, but cut way back on it, and replace it with the stuff you know you should be eating; veggies, fruit, skim milk, etc. Also, get out and walk, especially after eating; that is dessert for a while. As mentioned, since you burn roughly 2000 calories a day, and MAY burn off another 5-600 exercising (1,000/hr takes a pretty good athlete in good shape), cutting out the garbage can be very useful. Imagine yourself the weight you want to be, and keep that as a focal point. Willpower is nothing more than a choice. Good luck.
