RE: Weight loss without exercise
Okay, I found very valuable ebook and it helps me set a diet with 20 minutes of workouts. In my opinion it is not much and everyone can handle it. I can recommend it to you. In addition, it is completely free!
Here is the link

Just go and try it. I will come back there in a week and i will let you let you know about my results.

RE: Weight loss without exercise
Sure you can! For weight loss exclusively, changing your eating habits is the more crucial factor. I do not recommend "dieting", especially because all these faddy systems pop up where Joe/Joline has lost 1,000 pounds doing so.... but 98% of the people who try it quit, because it really sucks. You need to change your eating habits. It is not rocket science. Cut way down on the junk food, eat slightly smaller portions, and get out and walk instead of eating dessert. In time, the weight comes off and you have a better fed body. 99% of people will lose weight if they have a mind to do so. Take charge of yourself instead of relying on some outside influence, like a "diet"; those come and go, but you still have you. Good luck.

RE: Weight loss without exercise
I think you can use some sort of medication for weight loss. Plus you need to watch out what's you eating as well. You better talk with your doctor about it.
Good luck

I totally agree with jklingel! I'm on the 'Mediterranean Diet' sort of! Google it & you'll see that it's actually a way of life, not a diet at all!
Too many meds can be harmful.

RE: Weight loss without exercise
Yes, by just limiting your calorie intake. Try eating just 1300 calories a day (feel full by making those calories protein and whole grains) and cut back on sweets and alcohol, replacing with fruit for the sweetness. Once you lose weight, you'll probably have more energy to actually do some exercise.

agreed, but i'd be careful about a drastic calorie reduction (in the short run). that will tell your body to get extremely efficient and when you jump back to, say, 1800 calories (if that is about what your maintenance calories should be), you may gain weight. in turn, you crash down, lose weight, eat a bit more, gain weight, and repeat ad nauseum. easing down and back up will avoid the yo-yo effect.

RE: Weight loss without exercise
I started eating more plant based foods and have lost 7 pounds in less than 3 weeks time just doing that alone. I am now trying to incorporate a little exercise by placing a padded mat on the floor by the TV. During commercials I lay on the mat to do sit ups or leg lifts, etc.

RE: Weight loss without exercise
Absolutely. I lost 45 lbs in 2018 with no exercise, and I'm working on losing about 30 more now. Weightloss is about caloric deficit, so you'll lose weight as long as you take in less calories than you burn.
I recommend apps like Lose It! or My Net Diary to count your calories. You need to count every single calorie, including liquid, sauces, etc.
You'll need to figure out your basal metabolic rate (Google BMR calculator) this is the amount of calories your body burns at rest per day. I use my BMR as a baseline even though we burn more walking around and just living day to day. I use it so there's more margin for error. If you have a caloric deficit, you'll lose weight. There's 3500 cals in a lb of fat, so plan consumption and deficit accordingly based on your amount to lose and time frame. Keep in mind, BMR lowers as your weight does. I'm only 18, and 17 when I lost that with, so it might've gone quicker for me than for some others but you can still do the.

glad you are having success, and good info! one small correction; it is "calories in vs calories out" for MOST of us. some folks have a condition where they will gain weight almost no matter what; it is rare, though. if changing your eating habits and exercising are getting you nowhere (and you REALLY ARE eating less and exercising more), see a doc. think thin!
