    Picky eater

Trying to lose 10-20lbs over the next few months but my biggest issue is I'm a picky eater. Extremely picky and don't eat a lot of veggies. Any other picky eaters out there that can give advice on meal plans?

do you just not like veggies or do you just not eat them a lot because you don't want to?? which ones do you enjoy or could you tolerate? I was the same way, I still am. HUGE picky eater always have been my entire life. I usually try to add different things to my veggies or even better cook them. Look up on pinterest that is where I get all my recipes.

    RE: Picky eater

There's nothing wrong with being particular about what you eat.
I don't understand why people think it's a wonderful thing to be able to belly up to any trough and chow down.
So what if you don't like veggies..glad to hear you're not eating food that you do not like.
I spent decades gaining, losing, and obsessing about my weight.
Then I read "Feeding the Hungry Heart" by Ganeen Roth, changed my thinking about food and have maintained 130 lbs (59 yo woman) for the last 20 years, with no self-scolding, or destructive thinking.
Good luck sistah, hope this helps

i believe what you said about veggies is dead wrong. there is plenty "wrong" about avoiding them. you don't eat them to get skinny; you eat them to be healthy, and they just happen to be, generally, lower in calories than a lot of other food we eat, so keeping the gut off is an added benefit. no, i am not a weedaterian. i eat tons of meat, too. GO VEGGIES!

    RE: Picky eater

I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes two years ago. Lost 40 pounds since. And I'm a life-long picky eater. Veggies: I do love green beans. Carrots and corn, too. But anything else green? Nah. I've learned to eat some salads, even added tomatoes (at times). Don't care for kale. Might eat asparagus if it's grilled or steamed. But the real key? Portion size. I am diabetic not because i didn't enough enough fruit (rarely, and only apples, bananas, oranges) or veggies. It's because I loaded up on fried food, meat and taters. I still eat a lot of what I want to eat. Just not as much of it. More meals and smaller meals. And I've walked my dogs 500 miles in the last 12 months but never went more than two miles from my house. You can do this.

It is not easy to loose weight. but you need to eat a lot veggies. no chocolate, no cookies, no cheese, no rice, no pasta, no red meat. you just need to eat protein and Veggies, and fruits, plus do exercise.

you may talk with your doctor as well.

    good luck

I spent many years with an internal voice saying " NO THIS, NO THAT !"...constantly scolding, shaming, and imagining the various things that would be better if I was a little slimmer. I learned to look at food and the way I fed myself as an act of self-love.
I eat chocolate, vegetables, ice cream, fruit, rice, cheese. I happen to be a vegetarian. And though I happen to be a person who gains weight easily, I maintain my comfortable weight; 5'4", 130 lbs. by practicing the tools I've learned from Ganeen Roth's work, and also self help programs of recovery.
I do exercise, not only because it's good for me physically, but mentally.... more self-love.
So Picky Eater ..be well !

    RE: Picky eater

Totally know what you mean I hate that fresh earthy crunch from most veggies. When my friend Sierrah told me how she lost her weight at the time, almost 40 pounds, I didnt really believe her at first. I thought she was joking. But she wasnt because I have already lost 26 pounds. By adding redtea to my diet. Without any other change. It tastes good too. Ive been getting mine with this coupon. https://davyboi22_redteax.pay.clickbank.net/?cbitems=2.1&;cbskin=20480&cbfid=36210&cbexit=58 you have got to
    try it.
