    Losing weight

I'm new here, but wanted to share some info on weight loss and vitamin D3 supplements. For the last 15 years or so, I knew something was "off". I didn't know what, I just knew I wasn't feeling like myself, and had gained so much weight and couldn't quite understand why. About a year and a half ago, I went to a new doctor who did the same exact bloodwork as every other doctor in previous years, but this time the doctor checked my vitamin d levels, which were very low. My doctor had me start on vitamin d3 supplements. I feel so much better: I feel more like myself than I have in such a long time. Recently, I discovered a seemingly new condition, and had started cutting back on my carb intake, little to no sugar intake, more water, more protein and veggies. I started weighing myself daily, and my weight is slowly coming down. It's been less than a week and I have lost almost 5 pounds! Soon enough, I'll be adding exercise to my daily routine and see how much more weight I can shed. For people who are obese: have your doctor check your vitamin d levels! You could be dealing with a deficiency and with supplements, and watching what you eat, drinking more water, cutting carbs and sugar intake down to a much lower amount, you very well could start to lose weight.
