    Accountability

looking for someone that we can check in with each other for accountability for healthy eating and workouts. i was 15lbs from goal before a major injury sidelined me for a year. now i have 40-50lbs to lose.

i am thinking about premaking my meals from my family's, doing keto and the other things i did the first time. the only difference is i don't have the time to spend 4 hours in the gym every day now with a new job and puppy to deal with.

    RE: Accountability

I am a disabled 31 year old, who also has 40-50 pounds to lose. I suffer from a neuropathy, am diabetic, and have stage 4 kidney disease. Its harder for me to exercise, but want to for all it's benefits. I think I could use an accountability partner myself, if you are interested in pairing with me for this.

I too am disabled using a cane to get Around. I’ve had 8 brain/spinal surgeries from a ruptured brain aneurysm. I am doing Nutrisystem to drop lbs but I also am working out as much as I can.

    RE: Accountability

I'm part of an accountability group. What we do is choose a fitness package that interests each of us that can be done anywhere and report in to the group on a daily basis. Each program has modifiers so that the exercises can be done by almost everyone. The program can be the same or different. We each have our own interests but have the common goal of getting in better shape. The program that I am doing right now consists of workouts 4 days per week for 30-45 minutes each day. I try to post daily to inspire others and on some days I am in need of inspiration from the group. If you would like more information, let me know. Good Luck with your journey. alforster@sbcglobal.net

    RE: Accountability

Hi, you are right. Having an accountability partner really help. I had a scale at work and friend ensure that I met my target goal of 1 lb a week. in a year I loss 20 lb, but once we stop monitoring I gain it back.

We can start on a new journey together.

I'm in a program right now. I work out 4 days per week for 30 - 45 minutes each day. I'm actually eating more than I used to and still lose weight if I add running into it.

I think that would be great. Do you want to check in by email? How often? Is weekly enough?

That is ok if that is what works for you. The other group that I am a part of checks in on a daily basis.
