    Time to Get in Shape after Concussion

    Hi, I just turned 41. I am more of an exercise person and not so much of a diet person because I eat pretty moderately healthy. For 4 years I have been living with Post Concussive Syndrome after a blow to the side of my head. I used to be a runner, but when in recovery from my concussion I never got back to it. I just couldn't get my regular balance back again. After moving to Colorado and getting a new Neurologist and seeing a Concussion Specialist, it was determined that I have Vestibular Damage. I have been in Physical Therapy for this for the past few months to help regain my balance and lessen my migraines. Anyhow, I am going to start going to the gym again and hopefully run again someday. I am currently 5' 5" and 200 lbs, my goal is to get down to 160 lbs and exercise regularly. I have a hard time taking it slow, if anyone has any advice for me it would be appreciated.
