    Quit for 11 years!

Hello everyone! I have been quit for 11+ years and I have never felt more amazing. I just wanted to get on here to let all of you know that there is a light at the end. YOU will get there! I used Wellbutrin and a message board similar to this. Keep up the good work, if you fail just get back on track. You are doing this for YOUR health. I was once where you were. I had to stop visiting people who smoked, being anywhere near any place that allowed smoking. I did this for 3 months!!! You can do it....

    Kidney pain after quitting smoking

I'm 6+ weeks smoke free after a 25 year cigarette habit, chewing 2mg nicotine gum once or twice a day to keep the jones off. So far, so good. I'm eating well, excercising regularly, and staying hydrated, but this week I'm getting severe kidney pain, which I've noticed before in previous, less successful quitting attempts. When I've experienced this in the past, I've had ultrasound scans performed to check for kidney stones or other obvious damage, with negative results. Anyone....

Hi, I am glad I found this support page. I have heart disease, COPD with severe asthma, osteoporosis, and several other health issues that are all critical reasons why I need to quit smoking. I have tried e-cigs, vapes, Chantix, patches, antidepressant's, gum, lozenges, candy, eating, walking, exercising, yoga, support meetings, you name it, I've probably already tried it. Nothing helps, and several of the above mentioned attempts didn't agree with my stomach or my being prevented from....

    Constipation after quitting smoking

I have been trying to quit smoking for approx 6 months, and have been able to deal with withdrawal symptoms fairly easily however cigarettes had always made me need the toilet and without them I become constipated and so have relapsed due to the discomfort after 3 weeks of not smoking in which time my bowel movements were around once a week and usually did not provide much relief. Are there any aids that could assist me or will this just have to resolve itself over time? Until I can have regular....
