Always need to smoke when I drive

I don't know how to stop smoking when I'm driving. I feel like smoking is getting in the way of my daily life. It's all I think about. Just got a new car and it stinks of cigarettes. I need a cigarette at work, when I'm studying, or out with friends. It's too much, but I don't know where to start. I'm hoping someone here can give me some tips. I don't have friends to talk to about this issue.

RE: Always need to smoke when I drive

Your smoking is making you miserable. It's time to get pissed off!
Think of the cost of these cancer sticks and the tobacco companies that add addictive ingredients to the mixture to keep you coming back for more. I'm speaking from experience. One day it all came together for me, the cost, fewer places to smoke, feeling like a pariah and it made me so angry at everyone until I realized that I was angry with myself for being such a fool. I quit that day after 55 years of smoking. I used the lozenges for a week and haven't smoked for 4 1/2 years. Get angry and quit!
    I wish you the best.

RE: Always need to smoke when I drive

I was a cigarette phene for 20 years. Would avoid places and activities that I wouldn't be able to smoke, even jobs. I tried everything under the sun to quit and nothing worked until I started vaping. I got a starter kit, basically for new vapers and I quit day one and didn't even look back. I still vape about 6mg of nicotine. The nicotine is as about as harmful as caffeine by itself. The harm from smoking comes from all the addidtives and chemicals in cigartettes. The is also no combustion in vaping. Here is a helpful guide https://bestvapepen.net/ecig-reviews/ecig-kits/ .

I can relate to this feeling. Smoking literally gets in the way of my life everyday. Have you made any progress and managed to quit?

It's hard I quit cold turkey after 39 years because my daughter cried to me , I do have one sometimes when I drink but try not to drink so I don't smoke , I would rather save the money n hate smelling like smoke it's gross, plus mom died at 50 from it so ,, don't vape just quit , after the first day your ok , drink a lot of water
