    Post Severe Scoliosis

Hello, I am 14 years old and I went through a spinal fusion surgery for severe scoliosis on October 22nd, 2018, the curve was at a shocking 94 degrees before surgery and now down to mid-20s (incision was from T3-L3). I have recently gotten the clearance to participate in any activities/resume normal sports and functions early March (Around 5th). Since then I have been weight lifting, eating a good diet doing exercises such as running to help me stay in shape with the hardware and change in my back. I would like to do a little more and start stretching out my back as I have heard, and would expect, that it is indeed beneficial. I am asking for recommendations on how and what kinds of stretches I can do? (I could not find a better section for this)

    RE: Post Severe Scoliosis

Hi with your background, it would pay to go see either a physiotherapist so you can get an idea of what will be safe for you, as you do not want to put a strain on your back.

If they cant help they will know the best people to see.
