Discomfort Ejaculating/Tiny yellow gelatinous granules in semen

Starting about 4 months ago I noticed a slight amount of discomfort ejaculating. It's not painful, it feels like a lot of pressure in my lower abdomen and an almost un-noticeable burning sensation in my urethra.

So, i decided to masterbate and inspect my semen. The semen was a normal white/clear color and in some parts had small gelatinous clumps. And about 1 out of every 4 ejaculations i noticed between 1-3 tiny yellow/gold gelatinous granules.

Using a cotton swab i singled the granules out to understand their consistency and they were gelatinous like the rest of the semen.

I went to a urologist and submitted a urine/semen/blood test. Urine test was fine. Blood tests were fine. No STD's. However, my semen tested positive for 2 bacteria. Enterococcus faecalis and Staph.

At this point i was put on a 14 day antibiotic called zyvox (linezolid). I completed the antibiotics about a month ago and just submitted a follow up semen sample and am currently awaiting ths results.

My urologist doesn't know where the infection is, only that it is indeed there. She also doesnt know about these yellow/gold tinged gelatinous granules.

After the antibiotics i am still having a small amount of burning in the urethra, however the pressure in the lower abdomen upon ejaculation seems to have subsided (thus far). Further, i have noticed only 1 yellow gelatinous granule in my semen since ending the antibiotics.

    My questions:

1: This yellow/gold tinged gelatinous granule seems to be incredibly rare, my doctor has never heard of it, and I've only found 1 other person online posting about it from 2009. So what could this be? Is it something to worry about?

2: could this be prostate related? My urologist wouldn't check my PSA because im too young and dont have a family history of prostate cancer.

3: since all of the tests were negative for STD's what could be causing the slight burning sensation in the urethra?

I'm 31 and have been having stomach pains. During an abdominal and pelvic CT my spleen was found to be slightly enlarged at almost 14cm. Do they have something to do with each other?

RE: Discomfort Ejaculating/Tiny yellow gelatinous granules in semen

Hi So before you found these lumps just how often was you masturbating, your problem of lumps in semen comes from not masturbating enough, your sperm has just been sitting around and its then that it gets lumpy, even your doctor should know that, but then doctors do not really know enough about the sexual side of men or women,

I would get you spleen rechecked as it may have just been a glitch and has gone back to its normal size.

Sorry almost forgot as men we really do need to masturbate 2 to 3 times a week, this keeps things moving and healthy.

I agee with NOWHARD, you are young and should be ejaculating more often. Also , I personally perfer a male Urologist because they can relate better. ( Sorry if any woman are reading this and don't agree.)

RE: Discomfort Ejaculating/Tiny yellow gelatinous granules in semen

The gelatinous granules in the semen are normal. I've been having the same in my ejaculation for 2 years now. It's not in the frequency of ejaculation but with the time before one ejaculate. I've been addicted to masturbation before like jacking 4 to 6 times a week but the lumps did not disappear. I also thought somethings wrong with me. Then I came over an article I already forgot that state that semen in gelatinous phase requires time to react with prostate enzymes to liquefy. If you ejaculate too early, there is a large possibility that you will have the casual lumps in your ejaculation.
