    STD or UTI

Before I told you about my questions here some info about me

    Gender: Male
    Age: 31 Years Old
    Height: 5'10
    Weight: 101kg
Disease Might Inherited Through Family: Diabetes
    Kind of Work: App Developer

2 Months ago I have a unprotected sex with a female friend which I briefly known, after 3 days of I have experiencing discomfort on my penis, no painful urination and no discharge

It always been like this every time I have a unprotected sex with someone, for over 5 years, I'm always going to hospital and have a laboratory test which is always negative.

I went to a Psychiatrist regarding on my problem, as my urologist suggest to see one, and that suggestion is one year ago, but I recently went their and she diagnose me with psychosomatic disorder, which is I'm afraid to have a STD, so one of her suggestion is to take another STD and HIV test for me to be relief if the results are negative.

So I went to a clinic who is offering a complete set of STD (Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, syphilis and Hepatitis) and HIV testing, I just got this weird because on the previous hospital that I went for testing in STD, they get both first stream and mid stream, for this clinic they only get the mid stream, after 24 hours I went back to the clinic, I'm negative in HIV, but in my Urinalysis result it shows a bacteria exist on my urine, no white blood cells and no red blood cells exist, so the doctor told me that It might me UTI, so he gave a antibiotics for 7 days, 2 time a day with 12 hour intervention.

I know I might be crazy but do you think it's UTI and not STD that shows the bacteria on my urine?

Sorry I'm going crazy on this, thanks.

    RE: STD or UTI

Hi so you had a test, but we cant test you, so take your meds till they have finished and see how you feel then, its the best way for now, but in this time stop stressing as this will bring on more pain, just relax and let the meds do there work.

Thanks Nowhard, but can Urinalysis detect Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, and do you also think that Bacteria is just UTI?

I'm sorry I have experience a different testing on other hospital last year which has different test, taking the first stream and the mid stream, with a result that has Negative in Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, I expect that it will also be the result on my test, because it's a STD testing package, my mind is very confuse right now, but I'm taking the meds, the discomfort is gone but that's before I take the meds, it's just I'm afraid that if I got treated in UTI but I have a STD, I might infect my future girlfriend or wife. sorry for asking the questions.

    RE: STD or UTI

Hi The more you say the better it is, have you ever thought that it could be a yeast infection that wont just go away, women get these to.
It could be a bladder infection that wont go away or further up the line a kidney infection again that wont go away.

Try seeing a urologist over this and take a history of what you have been having and for how long its been going on, the length its been happening could help a uro to make him think its not just a simple UTI.

        Hi Nowhard

Actually I have been tested for every possible reasons for the last 4 years, I mean every year, I was tested if I have STD, but negative, UTI negative, Kidney Stone cleared (I have been diagnose before 2 years ago), Prostate Enlargement negative, other kidney and bladder disease negative, I was asked by my doctors If I have seen a psychiatrist, actually I have been last month and she is the one who suggest to take another test this year to make me feel better if the results is negative, she thinks I have a psychosomatic disorder, who is afraid on having a STD/STI, when I went to a clinic who offers complete test of STD test package, though I start to panic when there is a bacteria in my urinalysis, but the GP thinks it's not std, and it's UTI so he gave me antibiotics for UTI, i will go back tomorrow for another urinalysis.

Actually I feel better now, I'm just having doubts on the Urinalysis because of my experience on my previous hospital which is a chlamydia and gonorrhea test, that is different from the urinalysis, that's why I'm asking if a symple Urinalysis can detect STD such as chlamydia and gonorrhea.

        Hi, I found this.
Most infections with gonorrhea and chlamydia are asymptomatic. The fact that many people have no symptoms means that the only way to detect and treat these infections is through screening. In men, these diseases most commonly infect the urethra, and in women the cervix.

So this could be you your looking for something that's not there like you have been told, perhaps your shrink has seen this all before, try having healthy thoughts work from it that way.

I always never think of illness, even if you stress over something like you doing now this can bring on problems, so I never get stressed over things, perhaps you can start rethinking your life to being healthy, we all get little twinges, but that's life and when you get one don't worry about your find they just go away.
