    HIV/Aids questions

How soon would an average person show symptoms of HIV or Aids? I slept with a woman 4 days ago and I heard rumors or her having HIV or Aids. Now I'm in the er trying to get tested.. Any thoughts or advice??

    RE: HIV/Aids questions

Hi And from CDC come this.
An antigen/antibody test performed by a laboratory on blood from a vein can usually detect HIV infection 18 to 45 days after an exposure. ... Antibody tests can usually take 23 to 90 days to reliably detect HIV infection. Most rapid tests and home tests are antibody tests.

So your in there far to early.

    RE: HIV/Aids questions

Typically, there are no symptoms of HIV/AIDS that's why it's so important to get tested. You are trying to get tested much too soon. Go back in a few weeks.
