Slightly painful swelling on penis after masturbating

After masturbating on and off for a few hours using my shirt I noticed a lump/mass on the left underside of my penis, about one square inch under the loose skin that is left from my circumcision. There was no pain at first (just the dull ache that comes after masturbating for a long time) so I didn't notice the swellling at first.

It's different than genital lymphedema (which I've had in the past), as the use of hot/cold packs did not affect it. It also feels different. It still has the mostly uniform swelling of lymphedema, but there is also a small, hard, pea-sized lump that is slightly painful to touch. After touch the swollen area, there remains a dull ache/itching sensation (as if I need to pee) for several hours afterwards.

The swelling is there in both flacid and erect states. Erections do not hurt and I can still ejaculate, but pressure is applied to the swollen area there is some pain and a slight pinching feeling. I also noticed a thin, hard shape about one inch long and maybe 2 mm wide, but have not noticed it since.

This happened four days ago, and there has been no change in the size of the mass. I'm concerned that may have I damaged some of the internal tissue. When my penis has swollen in the past there was no pain. It's almost as if some of the penile veins have clumped together in one area. Will this condition abate on its own?

RE: Slightly painful swelling on penis after masturbating

Hi It could be just one swollen vein and nit a clump, the pea sized lump you on about could be just a cyst, but you really do need to see a urologist ASAP and find what it really is.

As for masturbating just use your hand and not cloth, just use some baby or coconut oil and start enjoying masturbating that way, if you don't you never be able to have sex with a women as it will never fill right for you, it may take some time before you ejaculate but just keep with it, doing that should get you over some of your problems.

I used to always masturbate with lube since I don't have a foreskin. It wasn't until last year that I started using my boxers or shirt, as it provided a more intense orgasm. It also made clean-up easier. However it took a little while to adjust, as I started to have lymphocele problems from masturbating too long without lube. I hadn't had this issue in months, though.

I had also started to notice a gradual shift of some of the penile veins toward the underside of my penis. I guess this was because the cloth had no give to it unlike my lubed hand.

Would waiting one more week before seeing a doctor cause any irreversible problems? I'm hoping the issue will resolve itself, as I don't want to spend unnecessary money. I'm also unsure if my insurance would cover it.

Hi Then find out what your covered for but see a urologist ASAP and get it sorted, tell what you have said here and don't worry he has heard it all before, but he needs to know why your really there and what coursed it.

But till then lay off the masturbating.

Use a creme called Man1 Man Oil... it is made just for penis skin issues like this and works both quickly and safely. It is basically a multivitamin and protein creme made just for the penis that treats all kinds of non-STD skin problems... it is real good stuff. You can get it online.
