    Weightlifting Injury

About 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ago I dropped a 185 pound barbell just below my sternum. At the time. I didn't feel any pain that day except a little soreness and the breath was knocked out of me. Thought I dodged serious injury. About 3 days later, my sides were really sore, and any time I jogged around, i would feel a pain in my chest right where my heart is. I would often feel this same pain when I would lay down on my back at night, and would then sleep on my side. About 8-10 days in the pain in the....

I wanted to ask everyone who is on pain management, is 20mg of hydrocodone IR, better than 4mg dilauded, both every 4hrs?

These medications are PRNs, I am on pain management with 30mg ER morophine 3x's per day and a muscle relaxer. After 3 years the morophine doesn't work like it used to. I'm still in a substantial amount of pain at times. I'm asking everyone who has been through something similar to my situation, any and all responses I am grateful for. Thank you.

    Thumb pain

I was closing my tailgate to my truck and I hurt my thumb. It has to be like if you had a thumbs up and was passing against a wall moving your thumb more vertical with the hand. I don't believe it is broken because I still have full movement it's just when I try to move it back or when I try to hold something and twist it it hurts. It also hurts when trying to push something like the button to open my truck. So I was just wondering if anybody knows if it's serious or if it will heal on....

Is Some Pain 5 week Post-Op Hernia Repair Normal????

Hello, I am a 25 year old male, 140 pounds, who received laparoscopic Femoral hernia-repair surgery exactly 5 weeks ago. At this point, I've recovered mostly and typically do not have pain during the day, but I do feel some pain (3 out of 10 level) when doing jogging or long walks, in addition to a feeling of "tightness" with each stride. This discomfort generally goes away when I stop exercising. Only other time I feel discomfort is when sitting in a straight chair for a long period....
