    Problems from new shoes

About two Months ago I got my new work boots. After about a month i started to develope heavy pain at the bottom of my left foot. I went and bought new insoles which did not seem to fix the issue. I'm currently waiting on a set of replacements.

The thing is o developed a really heavy pain in my left butt cheek. It feels like a rubber band stretching from left to right. Hurts like hell. Also started having pain in the crease between the left butt cheek and the thigh with a small lump. Is this something that I should go get checked out? Or is this something that should clear up when I get a new set of boots.

Side note: nothing out of the ordinary happened it just started getting worse.

    RE: Problems from new shoes

It sounds like plantar fasciitis in your foot & your piriformis muscle & sciatic nerve in your butt. It's most likely from your shoes. You were walking abnormally because of your foot pain & it irritated your sciatic nerve. The piriformis muscle sounds involved. Get myofascial release from a massage therapist who specializes in it or a physical therapist who does. It could get worse so make sure your foot gets worked on too.

There are a few different self care things you can do on your own, or go see a PT or chiro that also know active release. They will get you right in no time and help you choose shoes better for your feet.
