    RE: Depression

A good place to start is to find a good therapist who can give you some guidance and teach you some better coping skills (among other things)

Where you live, in person, is the best place you can get the kind of help you need and I hope that you will begin your search ASAP. Therapy can offer you a kind of hope that will get you through the struggles you are facing. It's not easy work, but what's the alternative?

    Hang in there!

    RE: Depression

I am new here hope Im doing this right. I saw your post and I definitely can relate. I also 3 months ago completed alcohol rehab. Im 62 and dont socialize much either. I dont have a car ect..... so getting around is almost impossible. I to am very depressed. My meds are not working and my psych dr just changed everything for the 3rd time. I kind of think everything is worse. Yes counseling is a good response and going to AA is also good. I wish I could practice what I preach but I have no way of getting there. Are you seeing anyone for your depression? A doctor? I hope you can get some relief somewhere. We both need it. Sorry I cant help much...
