    Concern

My systolic blood pressure is between 110-125 but my diastolic is always in the 80's, even with low salt diet snd exercise it hardly ever decreases. My resting HR is low 80's. Should I be concerned or take BP meds??

Normal resting blood pressure (BP) in adults is under 120/80 with 115/75 being ideal and 110/70 being optimal. Only by seeing a qualified doctor and looking at your overall risk factors for cardiovascular disease/heart disease can he/she determine if any prescription drug therapy is deemed necessary.
