I use the generic version of this I think. I use Gabapentintion I don't think that I spelled it correctly, however I can not be with out it as it has helped me that much. It has kept me off of things that are heavier.

: I HATED Lyrica. Made my mine all fuzzy as I was living life looking through a heavy fog. Didnt do anything for the pain. Recently I started taking a CBD oil tincture and so far it seems to be helping without any of the foggyness if the other fibro drugs

: Gabapentin is a different type of med and is personally a much better choice from my personal experience. I have been battling this for 18 years now plus also have a bunch of nerve issues from a car wreck in 2000 that will haunt me for the rest of my life. I can't take any kind of pain meds cause my body rejects them now, so my go to is been high doses of Gabapentin to help calm my nerves and pain from them.

I've tried lyrica several times in the last 15 years. It's a seizure medication, it builds up in your system so be careful with any other meds you take. I tried it along with 4 other co workers and all of us had to stop it. It works awesome but after a few months we all noticed our eye sight changed to point we couldn't comprehend what we read. Good luck! Not everyone has side effects.

I tried Lyrica when it first came out, I couldn't stay on it because I gained weight quickly. Because I also have severe back problems it wasn't a good idea to carry more weight and be in pain. So I went on Cymbalta and get good results from it. I hope Lyrica works for you, it was great for the short time I took it.
