Hi, I want to say first off that I am not a doctor, I've just been involved with so many other people, like myself that have Fibromyalgia. That being said, anything with widespread pain could possibly be Fibromyalgia. However, there are so many other symptoms that accompany the pain that you haven't mentioned I don't think that it is Fibro.
Have you seen a Neurologist, had an MRI or a CT scan? If I were a bettin' woman, LOL, I'd place money on you having either pinched nerves with or without bulging discs in your back.
As I've mentioned to a couple other people, I have a fairly new blog where I cover Chronic pain, Chronic fatigue, and Fibromyalgia. I'm actually in a series right now on how to talk to your doctor. I've only posted step one but the rest are coming. It may help you regardless of whether or not it is fibromyalgia. One thing on my blog that I want to stress is to stand up for yourself. Learn how to (nicely) demand that doctors, family, and friends take us seriously.
I could go on forever, so I'll stop now. I hope that some of these have helped you. In the meantime check out my list of fibromyalgia symptoms and see how you measure up. I hope that you don't have any, but either way, you're welcome.
My blog address is www.ouchwtf.com . As I said I've only just started the series but there are more posts coming soon.
    Take Care,
    Shannon
