patulous eustachian tube causes facial nerve damage?

I have patulous eustachian tube in my left ear. patulous eustachian tube is when the tube is automatically open no matter what, which causes you to hear your own breathing and voice. I basically had it happen when i got a nasty ear infection and for some reason, it gave me PET. About a year ago during June, left side of my face, mainly the nerves controlling my eye, started twitching uncontrollably and burning. I believe the nerve damage occurred because I kept forcing my ear tube to shut by doing....

Loss of hearing in right ear

I got water in my ear a few weeks ago and a couple days later, when I woke up, I could barely hear. It cleared up after a couple hours but not completely. Now I'm having the same sensation each morning when I get up. Hearing is only 50%. I got an otoscope from amazon and took a picture. Is it just wax build up? Is this normal? Please see picture here: https://imgur.com/a/i5Wtp9Y Thanks

    Ears red and with bumps

My 10 years old started yesterday with one of his ears very red and with some bumps, now the other ear start looking the same, brought him to the gp and he said that could be anything from bug bites to a simple allergy reaction. No other symptoms. Also yesterday he had an allergy on his hands, but I’m not sure is related. He got bug bites on his body as he was playing outside.

    Can’t stop coughing

I’ve been to every doctor in town and no one seemed to know why. Every other month or so, I would get this tickling in the back of the throat, then I’d cough here and there. Within a day or so, I’d be coughing nonstop with tight chest and mucus. Then my ears started to plug-up. Sometimes running nose but very congested chest. About 3-4 times a day, I would feel a stab at the back of the throat then I coughed until I threw up. I sleep with a humidifier every night so it’s not dry air. They did X-ray....

Hi, I am 32 years old but since I started college at 18 I began smoking. Finishing 1 box on 2 days on Friday's and Saturday's. Along with drinking, about 8 drinks a day, for those 2 days. Sometimes 3 times a week. I would also drink hot coffee from McDonald's. Then when I was about 27 I begun having a sore throat without any cold or anything. I went to the doctor and they tested for strep throat and it was negative. And ever since I was 27 I've been having pain in my left side of....

    Possible Hearing Loss

I have an appointment with an ENT next week and I'm scared. I've had tinnitus ever since I was a little kid. As I've gotten older I've found that sometimes I hear people talking but it takes a moment to register what they said or sometimes I can't make it out at all or hear something different. I have to have the volume turned up on everything. I talk loud too. Lately my ears have started this scary new thing where there's a popping sound followed by a really loud ringing....
