  • When you gotta go

I have had constipation for a very long time! I've tried everything over the counter, prescriptions and have not found anything that words are except for and I've gotten to where I do it once a week I take anywhere from 6 to 8 laxative pills. When I wake up and I feel like I have to go I will do an enema before I go. Hold it in as long as you can and then it will be like floodgates opening and it will make you feel so much better. It's horrible that I have to go through that every week....

    Severe bloating, constipation

About 2 weeks ago, I had loose bowels, low grade fever. Felt fatigued for a few days. Also had a lot of gas, bloating and feeling full, whether I ate or not. Now, the last week or so, I’ve had bad constipation, severe bloating and some gas. Nothing I do will help me with a bowel movement. I took a laxative earlier today and just waiting.... At first I thought I had some kind of virus, as 2 coworkers have had some of these symptoms too. Any ideas what is going on? I’m not getting scared that I may....

    Tummy issues

So I'm a white female in my late 30s and for the past week I've had pretty bad stomach cramps that come and go. I've been pretty constipated with not much of an appetite and lots of gas bubbles on and off. But today I noticed bruising on my upper stomach/lower chest and I know I haven't had an injury. So now I'm worried. On top of all that I've had no energy and cold symptoms as well. So I'm not sure if they are related or not. Just not sure if I need to go in or just....

    Ongoing issues

For about seven years now, I get stomach aches and diarrhea EVERY night. It began as normal stools and eventually escalating to nausea and diarrhea, and feeling like absolute garbage. I have trouble distinguishing between heartburn and acid reflux and nausea. What makes it worse is that I spent so many days of my childhood with stomach viruses that I am absolutely TERRIFIED of throwing up. When I start to get heartburn or acid reflux or nausea, whatever the heck I’m getting every night, I freak out....

Hi. I am 23 years old and over the last month I have been constipated. I eat very healthy, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, only drink water with the occasional glass of wine, beer, or mixed drink. I exercise a few times a week. I even calorie count. I have had tons of fiber and have even taken meta Mucil to try and help with my fiber intake. The only way I have been going to the bathroom is when I take a laxative every three days or so which works but then I get constipated again. I’m not having....

    Vomiting After Eating Meat

My son is 7 years old, active, healthy weight, healthy cognition, etc... When he was about 10 months old I stopped exclusively breastfeeding him and introduced him to solids per usual. We ate a non-processed plant-based diet in his first two years and slowly started introducing animal proteins into his diet after that. He doesn't have any allergies that we are aware of, but every time he eats ANY red meat or poultry, he immediately has stomach pain and he vomits within seconds (no exaggeration....

    Long term constipation

When I try to pass stool I have to strain hard and it looks like a temporary prolapse with tilted rectal (not anal) opening. Is this normal with constipation? I have been on seroxat for 20 years and have had constipation constantly
