I am a 54 year old female who has many health issues and I feel too young to be sick all of the time.

I have primary biliary cirrhosis (an auto-immune disease of the liver that they really do not yet know everything about it. They say it may be hereditary, but, I don't have anyone in my family who has had this. My problem right now is that a few months back had diverticulitis due to this disease. It is one of the many possible downfalls. After about 3 er visits with tremendous pain, they wound up cutting 12 inches out of my colon. I thought that I was over with. But now I have had another er visit with even worse abdominal pain and now having green stools and diarrhea. When I look the symptoms up everything points to diverticulitis again. I have not been diagnosed with IBS but I constantly have diarrhea. It is scaring me really bad because I fear one day they will have to take more of my colon and I will wind up with a colostomy bag. I don't think I can live like that. Is anyone else going through these things?? I wish they would put me on a liver transplant list but it seems you have to be almost dying to be listed!
