RE: Helping my husband with Parkinsons

My husband is waiting for his follow up and test results with a neurologist (9 days). It is not Parkinson's Disease, but the condition he has "DAVF" is causing the exact same problem. He had trouble walking when the symptoms first began. Over the past week, shuffling describes his walk perfectly. He is falling everyday now. It does not matter if I'm with him or in another room, if he feels he is falling, he falls. I am scared to death. He is 66. Clearing all the rooms of tripping hazards has not helped. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
