    RE: Gender

    Hi ,

This article says that sometimes the sex of your baby can be seen by about the 18th week of pregnancy: http://wb.md/2p0hzC5

    Hope this information helps!

    RE: Gender

I found out at week 11. I am a high risk pregnancy, so had to get blood drawn for genetic testing. Genetic testing can also tell you the gender, as your baby's DNA is mixed in your blood stream early on & I believe the genetic test can be done after 10 weeks. Trust me though, it's better to NOT have a reason for being high risk, but finding out so early was a lot of fun! :)

    RE: Gender

I believe around 7 weeks with a specific test the docs do to check for any deformations or autism etc. But I think starting at 15 weeks you might be able to identify the gender with a high definition ultra sound.

    RE: Gender

There is a blood test that's new in the past 5 years since I had my son called a 'free cell DNA' test. It checks for chromosomal abnormalities but a good side effect is it can tell you the sex with about 95% accuracy. Available at 10 weeks into pregnant I just had mine. Another boy! :)

Where I live you can find out at 13 weeks by ultrasound but the blood test can tell around 10 weeks. This blood test does not check for autism as someone said. It does however check for other abnormalities such as Down syndrome.
