what type of work do you do?

I am 6 weeks pregnant 1st baby didnt think I could have kids. I am a stocker at a big box retailer I work at 4:30am-1pm. I frequently move lift carry pick up items weighing anywhere from 20-50 lbs. I am not effectively or efficiency doing my job. My manager has made comments about it I'm exhausted, tired, nauseous, headaches, dizziness, feeling run over. What do I do?

I think that you should talk to your doctor about it. It sounds like you already know that this isn't the right job for you. I'd check out jobs in your area and see if there is anything else that may not have the same demands. I had two miscarriages while working as a telephone installation/repair tech. One was very early and the other was about ten weeks. I had a lot of stress for about a year and it wasn't a good fit.

Ask your doctor for a doctor's note you can't be lifting heavy if you're feeling dizzy you can faint. Or just leave your job if you other support from family members or find a job that doesn't require so much heavy lifting. The first three months are the most critical and you can be at risk of losing the baby.

I reached out to my doctor they said as long as I'm not lifting more than 40 lbs it's ok. My job says they will try to help me out but I don't believe that 100%. I can't quit insurance is great and my only source of income.

I think you should def get a note and take it easy until you get through your first trimester
