    Will pregnancy occur?

Hi. I have an extremely dumb question but it has been killing me for the last 2 weeks.
Is there any chance that a woman may get pregnant from taking a bath in a bath tub with water that has some cum(let's say 5-7 minutes old, mixed with the water) in it?
2 weeks ago after I masturbated I started taking a bath. After cleaning myself I started chilling in the tub and my mother suddenly came pounding on the door telling me that she needs to take a bath asap. I didn't flush the water and just left after getting my clothes on. After I went out I hear her getting in the tub without flushing the water I just used. Sounds gross, I know, but she probably was in a rush and it happened. Now that I explained exactly everything I could about the situation, can you please tell me what to expect?
This is a very serious question and I am not mocking anyone, this is literally killing me. I have been sleeping for less than 2 hours / night since this happened and I can't just go straight to my mother and tell her to buy a pregnancy test or even explain her the situation because it is overwhelming and too hard for me at this moment.

    RE: Will pregnancy occur?

Unless the water went up into her vagina, the odds are really really low, probably non-existent. Even then, I doubt the sperm would survive in water like that. Plus, considering the fact that you're her son, even if by some freakish occurrence she did funnel a bunch of the water up her vagina, was ovulating at the right time, and got an egg fertilized, the embryo would probably not last very long because it would likely have genetic anomalies. I'm taking your question seriously...I really think you can easy!

: Also, it was 2 weeks ago, so she would be freaking out by now if she missed a period.

Would the fact that we are related impact the pregnancy? I doubt that. Anomalies would appear but I think that it happens with the newborn.
I don't know what she did in the bathroom so I don't know if she got water inside her vagina or not. Or even more, I do not know if she was ovulating and all that.
Trust me, I am scared as hell, I can barely function.

And... even she was freaking out because of the supposedly missed period, why would she come up to me and tell me that? I would still not know if there's something wrong.

Sperm requires a pretty specific environment in order to survive. In order for a woman to conceive, the sperm have to mix with fertile cervical fluid to sustain them. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

    RE: Will pregnancy occur?

I know you're in distress and really freaking out, but I think you don't have anything to worry about. I found this on americanpregnancy.org:

"Can Pregnancy Occur If Ejaculation Takes Place In Water?

It is not likely that tiny sperm could travel through the vast area of water that would fill a pool, bathtub, or hot tub to reach the vagina and result in pregnancy. If ejaculation occurred in plain warm water, sperm could survive for a few minutes. If ejaculation occurs in very hot water, or water filled with pool chemicals, bubbles or other substances, sperm would not be able to survive for more than a few seconds. Pregnancy occurring from this is very unlikely and in most cases is not possible."

Based on your assumed age range, your mother is most likely in her late 30s or 40s. It's a fact of biology that women that age are not as fertile as women under 30. It would be quite improbable a woman that age would get pregnant without the sperm hitting the cervix, which is way up past the vaginal canal. As a woman who takes baths, I can tell you that I do not get water way up there. The situation is highly improbable for a young woman, even more so for an older woman.

You can rest easy, dude. I hope this helped.

Well, I have already read the information that you provided, but I am still scared as hell.
Also, she's hitting 50 soon if you think that age is relevant in this case.
I hope things will be fine, I really do. In the bad case that she somehow got indeed pregnant, what would be the first signs I can look for? I can't stay with her or visit her daily because we will be 500KM apart. And, again, if it really happens and I/we find out about it when it's already obvious, when would it be too late for an abortion? Safe-wise for her I mean.

: Oh, honey...you have nothing to worry about. By 50 the majority of women cannot get pregnant. You're good.

I'm so sorry this happened to you. Your mom won't be pregnant.
