    Need a push to go again.

    UGH, I need a hug and some motivation to get going again. Ever just get tired of it and give in to the popcorn or potato chips or whatever it is? I am there and need a kick to get moving again. Yes, I know it is all about me and self motivation but jeeze it would be nice to have a person to make me do it. Suppose I'll go look in the mirror. Anyone out there want to look in the mirror with me and say - Hey, you've go this girl!

    I know exactly what you mean. I'm a little over 65 and for years have struggled to lose weight. I just recently started to use an app, My Fitness Pal. I don't know if it will work for me but maybe you can try it. We can work at this together!

    Hi pickles,
    I understand having motivation through support and encouragement is important, especially in the beginning and when at a standing point of seeing no results on the scale. I started yesterday to cut out carbs. I've never been able to do this but my health during healing is necessary and I've gained weight since an accident not being as mobile. Although I was overweight to begin with, more weight makes me miserable.
    So I'm asking if we can help each other?

    I'm there with you and know what it means to lose motivation and I can't seem to get myself back in to it. I hate myself that I can't keep up with it when get started and I too need a push.

        Hey Sherrie, don't hate yourself. I understand the frustration of not losing weight. Just do the best you can and take 1 day at a time.

    I can give you that daily push, but there are several things I need to know, 1. do you believe your eating patterns are emotionally driven, we can dig into that if so, 2. once we connect on the why you do what you do, it is important to find your Identity and get you believing in you.3. I need you to go into google, search daily blank food log, and write everything you consume from now until Fri then email to me so I can breakdown food intake. email- Forrestnlp@gmail.com
    and also list if you are doing any kind of exercise, walk swim or stretching. if not lets start with minimum10-15 min walk a day, good for the mind body and spirit. ttys
