    Restless Legs!

I'm 22 and I've had fibromyalgia for about 5 years now. I was diagnosed by a rheumatologist and see pain specialists. I used to be be on various doses of Gabapentin over the years but what I've found that works for me is Lyrica 200mg twice a day. I never had issues with my feet/legs until the past few months. I constantly need to tense all the muscles in my feet and legs or I'll get this horrible tingling sensation. It happens all the time when I'm not moving and disrupts my daily life. I want to know if any other people with fibro have had the same issues, and if so, how did you cope/treat your restless legs?.
    Thanks!

    RE: Restless Legs!

I get restless legs also- I have fibromyalgia, and chronic pain from a major car accident (broken neck) which gave me neuropathy. Anyway, I have found that Hyland's Restful Legs (over the counter) works great for me. Hope this helps-

Hi Deb, I found that the Lyrica worked for me as well.
My RLS really acts up when either my blood sugar is too low or if I have a really bad fibro flare and I don't walk around the house very much for a couple of days. Or sometimes it just happens whenever it feels like it. What I found works the best for me is the Dr. Ho tens/circulation machine.
Whenever I feel it coming on I put my feet on the machine for about 10 minutes before I go to bed. It really tenses up the calf muscles and it saves me a night of horrible frustration.
A while ago I did a product review on the Dr. Ho system. There is a link to purchase it, I am not an affiliate of Dr. Ho, I just found that it really worked for me.
Let me know how you get on,
    Shannon
