Diagnosed with Lupas in 2000 and. Started to have symptoms of RA. So after a huge list of X rays and labs. The rheumatologist explains that it doesn't appear to be RA that it is Fibromyalgia, and she can't help me. To return to my primary care provider. I am fed up It took me 8 months just to get in to see the Rheumatologist. And now she says she can't help. Over wellmed and frustrated and advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

RE: This is a New one for me

I have exactly the same experience. 3 Rheumatologists, 4 Neurologists, pain mgnt, 50+ tests and over 7 yrs of running in a hamster wheel. It would be much easier that that they just had the nerve to say...we have no idea what to do. Go away and don't bother me. Now I am to do journals...not going to happen. Do sleep study...oh, brain surgeon, I'm in pain, not sleep apena! Then I was instructed to do Cognitive Behavior...I'll give you behavior! Stick a foil hat and tell me to chat in a corner. Good luck, their is nothing out there!
