    Progesterone

I have a new ob gyn since my old one closed his practice. After my first miscarriage we always got me on progesterone asap with my old doctor and now the new doctor doesn't want to do progesterone or see me. I've had two blood draws so far but they aren't concerned w the numbers. Three miscarriages were all from 7-10 weeks along. Should I push for progesterone/appointment? (At five weeks)

    RE: Progesterone

I have had the same issues with miscarriages. Did they check your progesterone during your blood draws? If not, I would ask for them to check that. If they aren't concerned with your numbers everything may be ok this time. Try to not stress, that will make it worse

: I made sure that they tested progesterone w the blood work. They made me come two days in a row last week(bc they messed up scheduling but I was free.) it was 22 and yesterday it dropped to 18.9. I'm a little freaked out and the nurse said that the person who was supposed to call me wasn't in today and I'll have to wait for their call tomorrow to discuss it. It is a call back from anyone I'm familiar w either. Still waiting for an appt w my doctor in person.

: I pray they will get you in and on the progesterone because it shouldn't be dropping. Hang in there!

    RE: Progesterone

I have 5 children a set of twins and three single births and I went in progesterone shots at 16 wks until 32 or 35 weeks and was told I will have to get them every pregnancy moving forward. So yes I would push for it with every pregnancy you have.
